Meet Rowdy! Rowdy is a gorgeous, young, bi-color german shepherd. He is around 14 months old. Rowdy came to the shelter as a stray several months ago. It was obvious from his condition when he arrived that he was kept on a chain and neglected. He was thin, dirty, and bore the marks of long term confinement, both in the way he would pace as if he was still connected to the chain, and in a lick granuloma on his foot. Despite these challenges, Rowdy is a bright, affectionate dog who craves attention and loves to play with toys. Rowdy crates beautifully and rides well. He enjoys water and the hose. He is also excellent with other dogs and loves people and children. Rowdy just wants to please and is very intelligent. His a young shepherd who has a lot to offer.
