The NC City Litter came to us with their very sweet mother from a high kill shelter in Carthage, NC. There names are Cary, Charlotte, Shelby, Winston, Salem, Benson, and Dallas. They were left over from a breeder/hoarding situation that got out of control. All of the other shepherds that were confiscated were put down due to behavioral and serious medical issues. There were 30 dogs and these guys were the only ones who made it. Kenly is an excellent mother and the pups just turned 8 weeks old. There are 7 of them total. I will tell you more about Kenly in her very own photo album. For now, here are her pups. There are 4 boys and 3 girls. They all seem to be coming a long very well, socially with nice temperments throughout. They are pretty sick, right now with parasites. The vet says they have the heaviest case of worms and parasites he has seen in a long time. They also have coccidia and giarrdia. 3 of the boys have umbilical hernias which will be corrected with neuter surgery. Right now, we are focused on getting them healthy and continually socializing them. Stay tuned for more on these little munchkins. :-)
